Residential Counselors, make a difference

Seall, Inc is now accepting applications for full and part-time residential counselors for second shift. Our organization has been providing community based residential treatment programs since 1971. Seall is committed to quality and unparalleled service to troubled individuals, their families and their communities. The ideal candidate is reliable, has excellent communication skills and must be able to offer a supportive environment as well as model respectful and appropriate behavior.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to overseeing all resident activity, assisting with recreational activities, and addressing problems quickly and effectively.

Seall’s starting pay for all new hires is $20.00 per hour. We also offer “sign-on” bonuses to all full- time new hires of $1000 paid in quarterly installments and $500 to all part- time new hires who work a minimum of 2 days per week. This will also be in quarterly installments.

There is a shift differential for those who work second shift (3 PM. to 11 PM.) of $1.00 more per hour.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years old
  • High school diploma or equivalent, College preferred
  • Must be able to pass an extensive background check
  • Experience with youth preferred

Seall Inc Administrator-On-Duty (AOD) 

 

Seall, Inc is now accepting applications for an Administrator-On-Duty (AOD) position. Our organization has been providing community based residential treatment programs since 1971. Seall is committed to quality and unparalleled service to troubled individuals, their families and their communities. The ideal candidate is reliable, has excellent communication skills and must be able to offer a supportive environment as well as model respectful and appropriate behavior. 

This weekend position is responsible for monitoring safety and procedures within the residential units. The AOD will oversee all programs, employees and supervisors, providing crisis and behavior management. Required duties include, but are not limited to: 

  • Oversees the daily workflow of programs, ensuring that all programs are following daily.  
  • Oversees staffing in all programs including directing and assigning work and ensuring ratios are met. 
  • Ensures effective quality of care is provided including promoting and implementing a healthy well-being by ensuring clean, safe environment; ensures programs are kept in accordance with standards required by regulatory agencies. 
  • Monitors programs for safety and security including but not limited to staff and building checks, hourly checks within each program 
  • Identifies and communicates areas of risk including but not limited to: ratios, restraints, safety plans and injuries.  Consults with management regarding risk reporting protocols, safety planning, follow up plans, and reducing future risk and program outcomes data. 
  • Handles all call outs and finds appropriate coverage in a timely manner, communicating to programs as needed, and updating schedule to reflect changes 
  • Adheres to agency policies and procedures; follows and supports agency mission, vision and values.  
  • Expected on-site work hours: 
  • Friday 1:00 pm – 9:00 pm 
  • Saturday 12:00 pm – 10:00 pm 
  • Sunday 12:00 pm – 10:00 pm 
  • Monday 1:00 pm – 9:00 pm

Qualifications 

  • Master’s degree in a relevant field and one year experience providing direct care in residential treatment programs for children/youth. OR  
  • Bachelor’s degree and two years’ experience providing direct care in residential treatment programs for children/youth. OR 
  • High School Diploma or GED and four years’ experience working with children/youth in residential treatment programs. 
  • Experience with supervising staff members.
